After 30 plus years in business Tim Therriault has officially retired from Northshore Engineering. Moving forward staring in 2026, Brody Mann (P. Eng.) will be continuing to provide engineering and detailing services in North Bay and the surrounding area under the new company name

We are licensed and insured in the province of Ontario to provide professional design services province wide, in addition to providing detailing and drafting services nationally. Our services include structural design and review of existing buildings, bridges and other structures. Northshore also has experience in the design of complete new industrial buildings and the retrofitting of existing buildings. Additional areas of expertise include the preparation of shop details for structural steel including highway and rail bridges, building structures, gauge metal, metal cladding, and miscellaneous metals. In addition, Northshore also provides welding engineering services as outlined by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). 

Due to our in-depth work experience in preparing shop details, our team has developed an acute eye for detail. This eye for detail has been developed by our staff through years of experience working with drawings and details from various disciplines and how these details relate to the construction and manufacturing industry. Northshore prides itself on using this knowledge to be able to develop and present effective and straight forward solutions to solve any problem. 

Our in-depth understanding of not only Structural Engineering but construction in general has given us  an appreciation for how our design and discipline affects other areas of a project including financially, and long term planning.
